Zen Heritage

Five whole cooked fillets steamed and handmade, in a 22 g pack. Neither fried nor dehydrated: steam sets the protein without drying it, so the fillet breaks by hand into whatever piece you want.

A single ingredient

The ingredient list of these five products fits on one line.

Between 99.5% and 100% of the content is the muscle the product is named after. The rest is that meat or fish’s own fat: between 1.5% and 2%. No cereals, no preservatives, no by-products.

Poultry

Chicken and duck, the two white meats in the range. Easy digestion and a gradual flavour.

Before choosing

Steam, not
dehydrated

It is what sets this range apart from the other treats in the catalogue.

Steam cooks the protein at a moderate temperature without contact with fat. The result is a tender fillet that can be broken by hand into portions, rather than a hard piece to gnaw.

This also keeps the ingredient list to a single line: nothing needs to be added to hold its shape.

The packaging bears a seal stating free from poultry by-products. This means the contents are identifiable muscle, not meal or cutting scraps.

On the chicken and duck fillets, this seal does not mean poultry free: it means free from poultry by-products.

These are complementary snacks: they do not replace the daily ration. The usual guideline is to keep treats below 10% of daily calories.

A 22 g fillet is a reasonable portion for a medium-sized dog; divide it for smaller dogs.

As this is cooked rather than dehydrated, seal it carefully and refrigerate after opening, then use within a few days.
