Food transition plan
Switching food overnight can cause vomiting or diarrhoea. The safer way is to mix the new food with the old one, increasing the amount every few days. Enter your pet’s name and start date and download the calendar to your phone.

Before you start
- These are general guidelines for healthy animals. If your pet has a medical condition or is on a veterinary diet, follow your vet’s advice.
- If there is vomiting or diarrhoea for more than 24 to 48 hours, stop the change and speak to your vet.
- Cats are often more reluctant to change. If yours refuses, make each stage a few days longer.
- Keep the total daily amount you already feed and change only the proportion between the two foods. The feeding amount for each recipe is on its sheet.
