Before choosing

Which is right
for your dog?

Ten formulas, ten different profiles. These questions help you narrow it down.

The Country's Best Chicken, Duck & Turkey is the natural starting point. It is the most balanced formula in the range: three fresh poultry meats, chondroitin and glucosamine as standard, and a profile designed for a healthy adult dog of any breed.

If your dog weighs less than 10 kg, the version Mini breeds is the same formula with smaller kibble and slightly more calorie density, because small breeds burn energy faster.

Persistent itching and recurring ear infections often point to a food intolerance, and chicken is among the commonest triggers.

Start with the Healthy Fish, with salmon and white fish as the only animal protein sources. If your dog also reacts to fish, or you have tried several diets without success, the Grain Free Rabbit uses rabbit, a protein most dogs have never eaten.

In any case, a vet should rule out other causes of itching before blaming the diet.

The Strong Joints contains 400 mg/kg of glucosamine and 300 mg/kg of chondroitin, aimed specifically at joint wear.

It makes sense for German shepherds, labradors, golden retrievers and generally any large breed prone to dysplasia, as well as very active dogs or those already stiff when getting up. The effect is cumulative: it shows after 6 to 8 weeks of continuous use.

Neutering cuts energy expenditure by around 20 to 30%, and many dogs gain weight without any change in their food.

The Country's Best Light lowers fat to 10% and adds L-carnitine, which helps mobilise fat as an energy source. It keeps protein at 30% so that weight loss does not mean muscle loss.

The Rabbit Light & Fit combines calorie control with a hypoallergenic profile, useful where there is also skin sensitivity.

You have two options depending on the puppy:

  • Puppies Chicken, Duck & Turkey — the standard option, with three fresh poultry meats and DHA for cognitive development
  • Healthy Fish Puppy — with salmon as the only animal protein, for a puppy with a delicate digestion or a history of poultry protein intolerance

Both are grain free from day one and formulated for the growth rate of the first months.

Yes, and in dogs without digestive problems rotation has advantages: it widens the range of amino acids and reduces the chance of developing intolerances from long exposure to a single protein.

Do it every 2 or 3 months and always with a gradual transition, even between products of the same brand.

The exception is dogs with diagnosed allergies: there, once you find the formula that works, do not change it.

The range Grain Free removes cereals entirely. It is the option when there is digestive sensitivity, a tendency to allergies or you simply want the profile closest to a dog’s natural diet.

The range Low Grain keeps a low percentage of quality cereals. It can make sense for dogs coming from a very cereal-heavy diet who need a more gradual transition, or on a tighter budget.
