Steamed duck breast. Duck has a stronger flavour than chicken and a little more fat: 2% versus 1.5% in the rest of the range, which makes a difference to palatability.

Duck’s stronger aroma works well for cats that ignore dry treats. As it is also poultry, it is not an alternative for chicken sensitivity.

Steam cooks the protein at a moderate temperature without contact with fat. The result is a tender fillet that can be broken by hand into portions, rather than a hard piece to gnaw.
