Dogs intolerant to chicken often tolerate turkey. Though both are poultry, their protein composition differs and turkey is leaner.
It is one of the lowest-fat recipes, alongside fish and rabbit. Even so, a vet should adjust daily amounts for an overweight dog.
All animal protein in the can comes from one animal. Here, only fresh turkey and olive oil: no mixed meats or unidentified derivatives.
This lets you know exactly what your dog eats, the basis of any elimination diet.
Because it is plant-based, it does not introduce a second animal protein. It also provides natural antioxidants and fatty acids that support skin and coat.
